Dine For A Cure 2027
Sat 29 May 2027

Brain cancer is a cause close to our heart. It kills more children than any other disease and survival rates have barely changed in 30 years.

We don't know what causes it - it seems to happen at random.

Join the movement to find the cure.

Dine For A Cure

Dine For A Cure is a Melbourne-based committee of volunteers who have all lost loved ones to brain cancer. We came together in 2011, determined to do something to raise much-needed funding.

Thanks to the help of our wonderful supporters and donors, we have raised over $2.3 million for crucial brain cancer research.

Dine For A Cure Committee

Dine For A Cure is the signature evening of the year for Melbourne's brain cancer community.

We dine, dance, and donate to raise much-needed research funds for brain cancer.

It's an elegant evening of fine food and wine, wonderful prizes, and fantastic live entertainment.

You are warmly invited to join us to support those living with brain cancer, to remember fondly those we have lost, and to raise the funds we need to find the cure.

The funds you raise by attending our Gala Dinner are invested to support the rockstar researchers at Melbourne's Brain Cancer Centre. We are also delighted that your donations continue to support Melbourne students to complete their PhD research into brain cancer treatment.

Sparkling Success

The Plaza Ballroom sparkled as we gathered for another unforgettable Dine For A Cure Gala Dinner. Inspired by our Diamonds Are Forever theme, the room glowed with elegance, light and purpose, creating a truly memorable evening in support of brain cancer research.

The evening opened with a powerhouse performance of Diamonds Are Forever by the amazing Aurora Kurth, while the ballroom glittered. Later, outstanding entertainment from The Diamonds saw the dance floor buzzing well into the night.

Powerful presentations from Andrew Herweynen and Associate Professor Jim Whittle reminded us why we come together each year, celebrating the progress being made in brain cancer research while recognising the work that still lies ahead.

It was, as always, an evening of generosity, hope, remembrance and celebration.

We are delighted to announce that, thanks to your incredible support, we raised $280,185!
